SSD to be used in ZFS pool as L2ARC (cache) and ZIL (log) on FreeNAS
Configuration
Delete partitions on SSD
gpart destroy -F /dev/da0 gpart destroy -F /dev/da4
Create partitions on SSD
gpart create -s GPT da0 gpart create -s GPT da4
parttion of 12GB for ZIL (32GB memory in system)
gpart add -s 12G -t freebsd-zfs -a 4k da0 gpart add -s 12G -t freebsd-zfs -a 4k da4
partiton the rest of the space available for L2ARC
gpart add -t freebsd-zfs -a 4k da0 gpart add -t freebsd-zfs -a 4k da4
Add the partitions to the pool
zpool add sata-disk log mirror da0p1 da4p1 zpool add sata-disk cache da0p2 da4p2
